As I listen to such Republicans as Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and several others, who now wish to point the finger of blame at everyone, from the candidates to the media; I can only think how much more damage they are doing to an already damaged party.
The facts are that 369 of the electorial college voted for now President Elect Obama which means that even republicans voted in favor of him as President. The fact is the party failed to reach all of mainstream America, from young and old, to rich and poor, and black, white, hispanic. Now that we know, how do we change and unite to secure our positions for the next elections?
This dose not mean we change our principle foundations, but reach and show others how these foundations apply and effect them and their day to day life.
When I was younger, I was more liberal, and as I became older, I realized that I was more conservative, as life and wisdom makes us all more aware of what is required, to live, raise a family, and have a future. As I read my bible and came accross Revelations 13, and then flipped to Habakkuk 2, realizing the trying times we are about to face; I could only gain strength in the part that ask us to have faith, build ourselves, and be ready when the time comes.
We as a party, must learn from what was, and better ourselves for what is to come and for what will be; we only destroy ourselves and weaken our party, when we keep bickering, and blaming one another instead of coming together and working together to strengthen this GOP party.
